How to access and use the Prompt library in Juma to save prompts and share them with your team.

The Prompt library is where you can save and reuse good prompts so you don't need to start from scratch every time. It's a central place to organize prompts for yourself and your team.

How to access the Prompt library

You can access the Prompt library in two ways:

From the chat: Type a slash (/) in the chat input field to see all the prompts you have saved.

From the sidebar: Click on Prompts in the sidebar to open the full Prompt library.

What's inside the Prompt library

Inside the Prompt library, you'll find two types of prompts:

Pre-built prompts: We've created these for common marketing use cases. They're ready to use right away.

Custom prompts: These are prompts you create yourself or with our Prompt builder. You can keep them private or share them with your team.

How to create a custom prompt

To create a new prompt:

  • Click New prompt (you can choose to create a private or shared prompt)
  • Give your prompt a name
  • (Optional) Select a preferred model

When someone uses this prompt, the chat will automatically switch to that model. This is helpful because different AI models excel at different tasks.

Adding your prompt text

Enter your prompt in the text field. This is where you write the instructions the AI will follow.

Using variables

Here's where it gets really useful. You can add variables to make your prompts flexible and reusable.

Variables are added using double curly brackets, like this: {{platform}} or {{key_message}} or {{tone}}.

For example, you might create a social media prompt with variables for platform, key message, and tone. When you or someone else uses this prompt, Juma will ask you to fill in these variables before applying the prompt.

This means one prompt can be reused for different platforms, messages, and tones without having to rewrite it every time.

Applying a prompt with variables

When you select a prompt with variables:

  • Juma will show input fields for each variable
  • Fill in the specific values you need (for example, "LinkedIn" for platform, "conversational" for tone)
  • Click Apply prompt

All the content you added in the variables will be inserted into the prompt automatically.

Organizing your Prompt library

As your Prompt library grows, you can create Folders to organize prompts by department, Projects, or use case. This makes it easy to find the right prompt when you need it.

Sharing and permissions

You can decide whether to keep prompts private or share them with your team. Shared prompts help your team work consistently and save time by reusing proven prompts.

You can also restrict editing for some prompts if you don't want them to be further modified. This is useful for standardized prompts that should stay consistent across your team.

Building a library over time

The Prompt library becomes more valuable as you add to it. Save prompts that work well, organize them into Folders, and share the best ones with your team. Over time, you'll build a collection of proven prompts that help everyone work faster and get better results.
