How to use speech-to-text in Juma to speak your prompts instead of typing them

You can talk to the AI instead of typing. This is great when you're on the phone, inside our mobile app, you're walking, you're brainstorming out loud, or just want to get your thoughts out faster.

How to use speech-to-text

Look for the microphone button in the chat input field. Click it, and Juma will start listening. Start speaking your prompt naturally.

When you're done speaking, Juma will process your speech and turn it into text. You can edit this text if you want. Delete parts, add more, or adjust anything before sending.

Mixing speech and typing

You don't have to choose one or the other. You can build your prompt by mixing speaking and typing. For example, you might speak the main idea, then type a few details, then click the microphone again to add more context. Go back and forth as much as you want.

This works on both mobile and desktop, so use it wherever you are.

When speech-to-text is helpful

This feature is great for:

  • Working from your phone while you're away from your desk
  • Getting ideas out of your head quickly during a brainstorming session
  • Saving time when you have a lot to say and don't want to type it all out
  • Capturing thoughts in the moment before they slip away
