Workspace analytics: Tracking team usage
Workspace analytics give you a clear view of how your team is using Juma. You can see who's active, which Projects are getting the most traction, and how collaboration is flowing across your workspace. This helps you understand adoption patterns and identify opportunities to support your team.
Who can access analytics?
Only workspace admins can view analytics. If you don't see this option in your workspace, you'll need admin permissions to access it.
How to access workspace analytics
To view your analytics:
- Click on your name in the bottom left corner
- Select Reports from the dropdown menu
What's inside workspace analytics
Monthly active users & User breakdown by segment
These sections shows your team's activity month by month. You'll see unique active users over the past months, with users broken down into three segments:
Beginner users: Team members just getting started with Juma (1-4 chats in the last 30 days)
Regular users: Team members using Juma consistently (5-19 chats in the last 30 days)
Power users: Team members who've made Juma a core part of their workflow (20+ chats in the last 30 days)
This breakdown helps you see how your team's adoption is progressing over time and how users transition between engagement tiers.
Usage trends (last 30 days)
Here's where you get a snapshot of recent activity:
Active users: How many team members have been in Juma in the past month
Adoption rate: The percentage of your workspace actively using Juma
Power users: How many team members are using Juma extensively
Total chats created: All the conversations your team has started
Message activity
This shows your total messages for the last month, with a breakdown of what's private versus what's shared. It's a helpful way to see how much collaboration is happening across your workspace.
Shared Projects breakdown
This section compares chat activity, collaboration, and engagement across Projects in the last 30 days (shared Projects only). You'll see:
- Project name
- Date created
- Who created the Project
- Active members in the Project
- Total chats created inside
This helps you identify which Projects in your workspace are used the most and are driving the most collaboration.
User activity details
This is your most detailed view of individual activity. You'll see each team member's user segment (power, regular, or beginner) along with:
- Number of chats
- Number of messages sent
- Number of Pages created
This gives you a complete picture of how each person is engaging with Juma.
What you can do with this data
These reports help you see what's actually happening in your workspace. You might notice some team members are using Juma all the time and could help onboard others. Or you might see that certain Projects have become go-to spaces for collaboration.
