Sharing chats and Projects
You can share the work you've created inside Juma, whether it's a chat, a Project, or even the knowledge you've built. Here's how each type of sharing works.
Sharing a private chat
There are two types of chats inside Juma: shared chats inside shared Projects, and private chats. Private chats are created by default when you start a new chat outside of a Project.
To share a private chat:
- Open the chat you want to share
- Click on the top of the chat window
- Click Share
You'll see that only you have access currently. You have two sharing options:
Share with anyone on the internet: Toggle on Allow public access and copy the link. Anyone you share this link with will be able to open the chat.
Share with your workspace: Click Shared to make the chat visible to everyone in your Juma workspace. This automatically turns your private chat into a shared one. You can then copy and send the link to your team.
Sharing a chat from a shared Project
If you've created a chat inside a shared Project, the chat is already visible to Project members.
If you want to share it with someone outside your workspace, toggle on Allow public access and copy the link.
Sharing a Project
To share a Project with someone in your workspace:
- Hover over the Project in your sidebar
- Click the three dots
- Select Copy link to Project
One thing to note: right now, you can only share Projects with people who are already in your Juma workspace. If you send that link to someone outside of your team, they won't be able to open it.
For more control over who can access a Project, you can also manage permissions in Project settings.
Sharing Project knowledge
You can share your Project knowledge with other people and AI apps outside of Juma.
Let's say you've built amazing context inside a Juma Project. To share it:
- Open your Project
- Click on Knowledge in the sidebar
- Click the Share button at the top
- Enable the shared link
You can share the knowledge with this link, or you can share it directly with ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and other AI apps.
This is huge because it means the work you do in Juma isn't locked in. You can take that context anywhere and use it across different AI tools.
Quick recap
Share individual chats publicly or with your workspace.
