Juma (formerly Team-GPT) 2.0 Private Beta is Live

It’s officially started.

1,000 workspaces and their users have been selected and given early access to Juma (formerly Team-GPT) 2.0.

The 2.0 upgrade is making its way to users 🙇

Here’s some backstory…

Juma (formerly Team-GPT) came into the world a bit over a year ago. In its early stages, it was an experiment…that worked!

This month, we hit 45k users.

Throughout this journey, we have reviewed thousands of feedback forms and support tickets. We talked to users and listened to their needs. Your input, combined with our enthusiasm, drove us to continuously iterate and introduce new advanced functionalities.

And so, we made a major upgrade of the entire system, to write it properly and prepare for scaling and faster innovation.

Recently, around a 150 users joined the Juma (formerly Team-GPT) 2.0 Technical Preview and were the first to explore the new Juma (formerly Team-GPT) experience.

They engaged with the core capabilities of the 2.0 upgrade, tested, observed, and shared their feedback and ideas. We met with some of them online, and we talked about their observations at large.

We gathered the feedback and identified more areas for improvement - some things are already implemented, some need just a bit more time to ripen in our minds.

Now, we are kicking off our Private Beta, and welcoming more than 5000 users into Juma (formerly Team-GPT) 2.0.

We’re eager to hear what you love and where we can improve even further. In the meantime, we are gearing up for a general access rollout very soon.

Which workspaces are part of the Private Beta?

Juma (formerly Team-GPT) still misses some things, so we're not going to rush into upgrading every workspace immediately. That said, we selected those workspaces where we're certain we won't disrupt any user workflows. We’re working to allow general access to the upgrade soon!

What's new?

Multiple Models in Chat

All workspace members will have the capability to use different LLMs simultaneously. Additionally, users will be able to switch between models for each chat message.

Folder Permissions

You will have complete control over access to a folder and its contents. Permissions can be set to private, view-only, or full access for the team.

Custom Instructions Library

Juma (formerly Team-GPT) 2.0 comes with a dedicated library for users to create and reuse different instructions on-demand.

File Uploads

We know that you want this feature - we do too! This will allow you to upload documents to interact with them, summarize, and use as context.

Google Gemini Integration

We will integrate Google Gemini to maintain a seamless AI experience that keeps pace with your ambitious projects.

Custom Instructions at a Folder Level

Soon, you will be able to set and manage custom instructions on a folder level that will be applied to all chats inside.
