How to create and work with Pages, Juma's AI-first text editor that lets you edit and enhance your content

Pages is our AI-first text editor where you can create, edit, and refine documents with AI assistance. Think of it as a smarter way to write, combining familiar text editing with powerful AI capabilities.

Creating a Page from a chat

To turn any AI response into a Page, hover over the message and click Edit as page at the bottom. This opens the content in Pages, where each paragraph becomes an interactive block you can work with.

Editing and organizing your content

Pages gives you complete control over your content. You can click and edit any text directly, drag and drop paragraphs to reorganize them, delete sections you don't need, and apply formatting like colors, links, and different text styles.

Using AI tools in Pages

Here's where Pages gets really useful. Select any paragraph and click the Ask AI button to refine just that section.

AI editing options

Prompt: Enter a custom prompt to refine your paragraph. For example, "make this more professional" or "add some data to support this point."

Improve writing: Improve the text while keeping the same meaning.

Fix spelling & grammar: Correct all spelling and grammar errors, and fix any punctuation mistakes.

Shorter & Longer: Adjust your text length. "Shorter" creates a more concise version, while "Longer" expands your text with additional details.

Summarize: Turn long paragraphs into brief, clear summaries.

After the AI edits your paragraph, you can replace the original or insert the new version below it.

Formatting your Page

You can customize your Page with different formatting options:

Block formats:

  • Regular paragraphs
  • Multiple heading levels
  • Bullet lists
  • Numbered lists
  • Check lists

Text styling:

  • Bold (⌘+B)
  • Italic (⌘+I)
  • Underline (⌘+U)
  • Strike (⌘+Shift+S)
  • Code blocks
  • Custom colors
  • Hyperlinks (⌘+K)

Sharing and publishing Pages

If you create a Page in a shared Project, your whole team can see it. To find your Pages, click on Projects, select your Project, and click on Pages.

You have several sharing options:

Share with workspace: Click the link icon to share the Page with people in your workspace.

Publish: Publish your Page to share it with anyone, even outside your workspace.

You can also export your Page, move it to another project, or open it in the side panel for easier reference while you work.
