HubSpot integration: Chatting with your CRM data
The HubSpot integration lets you interact with your HubSpot data directly through Juma's chat interface. Ask questions about your tickets, deals, contacts, and companies, and Juma retrieves the relevant information from your HubSpot instance.
What you can do
Once connected, you can chat with your HubSpot data to:
- Look up contact and company information
- Review deal pipeline status
- Check on campaign-related records
- Get summaries of recent tickets
Connecting your HubSpot account
There are two ways to connect your HubSpot account to Juma.
Option A: From the chat interface
- Click the settings icon (gear) in the chat interface
- Select "Connect HubSpot"
- Choose your HubSpot instance when prompted
- Approve the requested permissions
Option B: From profile settings
- Click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner
- Select "Integrations"
- Click "Connect HubSpot" and authorize access
Once you've approved the permissions, you're ready to start chatting with your HubSpot data.
Example queries
Here are some questions you can ask once connected:
- "Show me the details for contact John Smith"
- "What companies are associated with our latest campaign?"
- "What are the latest three deals in our pipeline?"
- "Can you give me a summary of the three latest tickets we've received in HubSpot?"
How it works
When you ask a question, Juma first checks your user permissions to understand what HubSpot data you have access to. It then searches the relevant CRM objects (contacts, companies, deals, or tickets) and returns a summarized response based on the information found.
Current limitations
The HubSpot integration is currently read-only. You can retrieve and view information from HubSpot, but you cannot make changes such as updating contact records, modifying deal stages, or editing company details. All write operations need to be performed directly in HubSpot.
